idea photobook
I'd like/ try to photograph graffiti / street art, but not in a common way. I think street art speaks a lot for itself and there are already a lot of books about street art, but often just showed in the same way. Thats why I have to add something to it. I want to show the influence that street art has on its environment and vise versa, the harmonic and disharmonic aspects. Maybe parallel to that I could place some pictures that communicate the feeling of "the unknown"- means: The people that act behind these grafittis and street art elements. I wont show them in a real way but in a mysterious , ghost like way. Because the existence of a street art artist means to work anonym and to be not seen by anyone. This could end up in a combination like: left page of book street art and right page an "the unknown" photo
.

first example for a combination:

I have another idea and I'm not sure which idea will be my definite story, maybe I'll work on both ideas and decide later.
My second idea: Photograph people (portraits of people) upside down (while making a handstand for example). Then Ill turn the portrait in the right/common position a portrait normally has. There will be a light deformation of the face what could have an interesting effect. The viewer will recognize that there's something wrong, but maybe not find out the reason at first view. I just have one example (internet picture). It isnt a good example, because i think the forming of the face is too soft but better pictures taken by myself will follow soon.
(I'm not owning the rights of the picture)

First day of shooting

zu einer Szene aus Pulp Fiction
It was a really exhausting, stressful, annoying and punishing day
but all efforts pay off!!
I learned that as a director you really have to be multitalented...have a feelin' for setting/scenery, handle a camera, handle the light, communicate with actors, assistants, being creative in finding solutions. You need a high level of patience and be able to perform under pressure.
It was a very interesting, enjoyable day but now I'm dead.

my cousin - my wonderful actress :-)
